Agenda Time

It's really ironic that President Bush is facing the most virulent opposition to his Supreme Court nomination from the folks that are supposed to be down with him.

From what I understand, many on the "right" side of the political spectrum are concerned that Ms. Harriet Miers is not conservative enough, especially with respect to social issues (read: abortion).

What I don't understand is why some Democrats (read: Harry Reid) have seemed to already have the stamp of approval for Ms. Miers.

Perhaps it's a political tactic to spur on the in-fighting with the GOP faithful. Who knows?

One thing is for sure: the Democrats need to use this opportunity to deliver a clear and concise agenda to the American people. The same old stuff isn't working and hasn't been working for quite some time now. Wake up and smell the electoral defeat.

It's not just about winning; it's about our future and our children's future.

What's on the agenda?
