Truth And Consequences
It's all about self. Too often people simply don't think about the consequences of their choices, how their choices directly and indirectly affects others - they're only worried about maximizing their own happiness. If that means that many Iraqis die then it just sucks to be an Iraqi. If that means that millions of babies die then those babies shouldn't have "chosen" to invade a woman's womb. Choices have consequences, and it turns out that the offspring of sperm donors have something to say about their conception, retroactively exercising their own freedom to choose.IIRC, a few years ago lots of folks were Pro Choice when it came to property rights - it's not about the right to choose, it's about that which is chosen...
