Immigration
In the past few days we've seen an enormous groundswell of individuals coming together over one issue: immigration.Millions have participated in demonstrations across the country, with a couple hundred thousand in Washington, DC alone.
The House already passed one bill on immigration reform, while the Senate is working on another one.
This is a very complicated issue with no easy answer.
Any sovereign nation must have control of its own borders. It is a bit ridiculous to assert that no borders at all should exist and people should able to roam freely between nations. Sure that's a great idea and is beautiful in an ideal world, but it's just not reality. That's like having no walls on your house.
It's also ridiculous to say that anyone who arrives here illegally and anyone who so much as gives them the basic human necessities of food, water, and shelter should be locked up.
People come here for the opportunity to have a better life, not only for themselves but also for their children. Who can fault that? While I agree that it's not fair for people to cut in line ahead of others who are going through the legal, legit immigrant citizenship process, I do not agree that someone is a "criminal" for trying to feed their kids.

your statement is very interesting.
To piggy back further who's more of a criminal, people risking thier life to get here to feed thier families, or american companies from produce growers to Walmart the most profitable company of the planet who actively encourage imigrants who are illegally here in order to have a cheap labor source.
